Welcome to Modern Cyrano. By accessing or using our AI-powered dating advice platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

2. Service Description

Modern Cyrano provides AI-powered dating advice and message analysis tools, including:

• Message Analyzer: AI analysis of dating messages with response suggestions
• Ask Cyrano: Conversational AI dating coach
• Screenshot Analysis: Visual analysis of conversation screenshots (Pro+ plans)
• Premium Tones: Advanced response tone options (Pro+ plans)

3. User Accounts

When you create an account, you must:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Subscription Plans

Some features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay the fees associated with your chosen plan (monthly or annual billing).

Billing

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You will be charged at the beginning of each billing period
• All fees are non-refundable unless required by law
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until the period ends.

5. Usage Limits

Free accounts are subject to usage limits:

• 2 message analyses per month
• 2 Ask Cyrano conversations per month
• Basic response tones only (Playful, Confident)
• No screenshot analysis

Paid plans include higher or unlimited usage depending on the tier. Attempting to circumvent usage limits may result in account suspension.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, or defamatory
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Submit content involving minors
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or exploit the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Share account credentials with others

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Modern Cyrano and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process and analyze it for the purpose of providing our services.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• We are not responsible for any relationship outcomes based on our advice
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the past 12 months

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Modern Cyrano and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
